Counselling
Counselling has a reparative and healing focus. It's about exploring the current and past experiences that are affecting your day-to-day mental health and wellbeing. Together, we uncover the subconscious habits and patterns that developed earlier in life, and explore how they're showing up in the present. Whether you're working through bereavement, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression or addiction, counselling offers a calm, confidential space to explore why this is happening, and to begin moving towards acceptance and clarity.
Coaching
Coaching has a generative and forward movement focus. Rather than spending extended time analysing the past, coaching is about building forward momentum. Together, we identify where you want to be and working collaboratively to get there. In practice, this means establishing new ways of thinking, behaving and responding that align with the life you want to create. Like training in a gym, the more consistently you practise these new behaviours, the more automatic and natural they become.
Integrative Therapy
Integrative Therapy brings together the best of both counselling and coaching, so you don't have to choose between the two. Many people's difficulties are connected to both deeper emotional patterns and present-day habits or behaviours. An integrative approach allows us to work with both in a coherent, tailored way. We can move flexibly between reparative depth work and forward focused generative work, depending on what feels most useful at any given point.
